Hiya

When we arrived in Australia and had our container we were contacted by Pickford's to tell us that a certain wheat bag was found in our container. They gave us the choice of having it cleaned at $80 or disposed of at $50. We choose the disposal option !!! When we got the box with the rest of the bits in that the wheat bag had come from it was full of bits that we had told the packers not to pack !! We then went on to find the children's wheat bags, the ones shaped like teddy bears and they escaped the wrath !!

I wouldn't consider knowingly bringing one in,you might get away with it but if they "find" it they charge you well over the top.

What a carry on, and all the expense for you. Was that the only thing they picked up on?

You would think these 'specially trained packers' that pack up your stuff in the U.K would know the things that will be stopped at the other end
