What's happening with the aussie dollar?. It was 2.3944 a minute ago.

I was wondering exactly the same thing. What happened to the 2.2 predicted slump? Or is that still on it's way?

It is becoming a play thing of the financial markets. Yo Yo time. A real bummer for exporter and importers trying for a predictable future but copping large hedging costs instead.

Can I ask for every English Pound you get an Australian Dollar, makes it nice and easy for me to return to the UK!!

Direction of movement (up/ down) is no longer as predictable as a few months ago. Too much depends on others.
