Default whats with this weather???

There I am this morning having a lie in and I get woken up by my bed Physically moving and the sound of really heave rain and wind. Have a looky out the window to see the roughest sea and the tree in the garden goin a little crazy, have a bath in my swaying bathroom (bathrooms are on the ocean side of the building on stilts), settle in to watch a bit of morning news and the power goes off.

went out this afternoon to find loads of bits of tree everywhere and workmen all over the place. Turns out it was a TORNADO that woke me up. Bloody good job it didn;t pick up my bathroom and shove me the other side of town still in my bath, would have been too distressing for the poor ol folk of gero to see that.

Anyone live in Leeman? aparently they got 2 tornado,s

Apparently the bath is one of the safest places to be in a tornado - but they don't say whether that should be with or without the water or the rubber ducks!

I don;t know cos I didn'tn see it, It went down one of the main business roads 1 road inland from our road, looking at the damage at Woolies carpark I'd say 25 meters wide sounds realistic tho.

We didn;t have power for about 5 hrs which made for a very boring day, couldn't even do the laundry to keep myself entertained.

I dont recon they meant my bathroom when they came up with that one, if it weren;t peeing down I'd get out and take a photo of the part of the building the bathrooms are in, very very unsteardy

It's just so you're already naked - apparently clothes being ripped from your body by a tornado, as opposed to a hot date, can be painful!!
