No idea of the actual temperature but it's been grey and chilly today - yet again If I don't get some long term sun and blue skies and heat soon I'm going to asssume I'm back in the UK and start bitching about putting the central heating on.

It's been averaging mid 20s maximum temps on the Gold Coast, that's shorts weather.

Down here in Victoria it has been genuinely miserable. We've had the same lack of sun problem but with temperatures in Melbourne struggling into mid teens during the day and no change to the weather for days on end.

Where I am it has been low teens most days. It's normally starting to warm up a bit at this time of year and there should be a lot more sun.

Sorry but...

Brisbane is likely to receive a record rainfall

Brisbane has already exceeded its average September monthly rainfall total and is set to be deluged with a seven day rainfall total potentially exceeding 100 millimeters.

Queenslanders in the interior and east may need umbrellas and gumboots thanks to the persistent rainfall that is likely to last for well over a week in the "Sunshine State".

Been busy shopping again all day, so no worries.

Each to their own mate. The temps up there wouldn't suit me at all.

Heard that. Don't mind the rain, always quite enjoyed it, and love the fact that it fills the tank up. Just hate being cold. Blue skies between the clouds is good too
