Sydney is freezing this week. Very wintery. Not surprised it snowed on the Blue Mountains last night.

I reckon it will be the last of it and will be summer next week.

Too freaking hot to be digging out the spring onions and then removing the invasive roots from the grass that have yet again choked up the veggie patch. I didn't need to water, as the sweat was running off my face onto the soil!! I also caught the sun on my forearms, despite being mostly covered up.

Too flippin hot for October here too.

Forecast says it was 28, it was way hotter, 34 and 35 on temp displays driving round town. Predictions of 38 and 41 for some outer western subs of brisbane next week, and again it will be much hotter than they say.

No humidity to speak of yet so its more hot blast weather, rather like living in a bakers oven.

Walked outside just before dark to find one of the resident carpet snakes going for a cruise across the driveway. About 7ft long, we think it might be the one who lives in the roof above sons bedroom, found a skin up there and at night you hear strange thumping nosies, beautiful snake made our day seeing it.

Its weird, I am still in shorts and tshirt and outside it is actually quite 'warm'. I might get into December before the long trousers make an appearance

It is hotter than HELL

mid 30's 40 depending on where you are in Brisbane.

Not humid yet, just hot blowtorch heat, like you walking into a pizza oven.

Walking 30m from the car, you can feel your skin burn.

Bloody awful, and supposed to stay mid to high 20's tonight.
