Hoizontal rain coming in under the door at times.....put a towel down to soak up the worst. Still haven't had the big winds, though it is pretty gusty out there. Glad I live on a hill, though if there is the 200 METRES of rain forecast by a 9 news bimbo, then I'll need an ark.

There is a chance of 200 mm but the likelyhood is about 100 mm. Everyone be safe.

Still raining this morning...mopping up and picking up bits of tree. House is unscathed apart from rain which came horizontally under the front door, and an overflowing pool.

I was surprised at how normal travel was today in Sydney. Brisbane office was shut down. Slackers.

So, 4 days without power (and running water) and one midnight evacuation to higher ground later. It would appear to have been recently over-damp.
