Is TW quite a bit higher up than Briz? Seems to be a bit cooler out your way.

Yeah, it's very high up, we're on a ridge! That's why it's called 'The Fridge on the Ridge' lol

EDIT: Just googled it, we're 700 metres above sea level...

for you guys then. It won't get too hot while we bake here down below.

I love the heat up until a point (coming from Africa), although haven't really experienced it for about ten years while we were in Surrey.

I think I'll struggle this summer until I acclimatise.

I'm told we're gonna have a proper QLD summer this year with humidity builds during the day, thunderstorms in arvo, and fresh clear air after it all.

Till tomorrow!

I've been here 4.5 years now and altho seen some lovely storms at night, apparently i'm yet to see a proper summer.

I acclimatised to the winter a LOT quicker than I did the summer

Winter is freeezing for me, and has been since I landed in July 2006. Summer however is pretty damn good (yes, even the 42 degree days so long as I don't go sunbathing or anything...although I think my pool probably helps with that! )

Wood burner Wendy, def the way to go!

The Winter before last we had the usual 2 doona's and the leccy blanket on ... Nic struggles with the cold, and when she's 'just right' ... everyone else is hot. You know the type.

Anyway, last Winter with the burner we had nights of sleeping out of the quilt, honest!

I think they're a few grand + installing the thing, and there's the wood to run the thing, but it's the best thing that came with our house we say ...
