Question whats the right order?

Please can somebody help us?Are we right in thinking that to go to oz on a skilled visa, the skills assessment has to accompany the visa application? What other documents have to go with it?i.e. police check and medical. Is there a standard medical form?So much paperwork and not 100% certain of the correct order of merit. At this rate I'll be going on a stress management course.:

Go and download this book. It will tell you what you need to know to get started.
