I have been thinking about all our stop-over visits to places I have alway wanted to visit on the way to Brisbane.

After all the stress of packing etc, we are thinking of a few weeks holiday before we arrive at our final destination.

Where do you want to visit and why. If not why not.

I want to go to Singapore (we have only done a short stop over), China (Sars?), Thiland, New Zeland. Would like to take the kids to Disney but don't know if that will be too expensive. Husband wants to go to the Seychells.

First time I came here I was flying Royal Brunei and went via Singapore, Brunei and Kota Kinabalu.

We went from Singapore all the way up to Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand and back down. Average accomodation price was about 4AUD but I had just finished Uni. We went to Koh Phang Nang, Bangkok, Katchanaburi (bridge over the river kwai), Chiang Mai, Teman Negara National Park, Malacca, Brunei an Kota Kinabalu.

Probably the best holiday ever.

The last time I came over I went via Hong Kong for 4 days. Singapore is good for 2 days but gets a bit boring and I had no desire to go back there.

In Novemember I am coming back from a holiday in London via Barcelona, Tokyo and Kyoto. JAL had a good price ($1500) and I have always wanted to go to Japan. You can fly into Tokyo and out of Osaka without problems which saves you on Bullet train tickets.

Look out for the flight centre travel expos as they have some good deals. Only prob is they want you to pay cash.
