What is a LUG?
When looking at rental properties in Sydney, I ofen come across "big backyard with a LUG" or something like that.
I have been unable to find out what it means, does anyone know?

Yep, I had to google it when we first started looking.
SLUG = single lock up garage
DLUG = double lock up garage
SLUG = single lock up garage
DLUG = double lock up garage

I believe you can get garages with a busted or unserviceable lock - like mine was when I moved in. They are CLUGs.

also look out for:
IGP = in ground pool
BIR = built in (ward) robe

I can think of a few they should include:
NBN = Nosey B#####D Neighbours
KAC = Knackered Air Con
