Just curious to know what everyone does for a living, or are you going to change what you do when you get there?

I'm a lawyer, specialising in consumer protection, not sure if I am going to work when I get to Melbourne. Husband is in the newspaper industry.

I'm a programme director for BBC... Hubby's a welder... He'll continue welding, and I'll probably have to find a new career, unless I can blag myself a job at ABC or something.

Both myself and boyfriend are recruitment consultants, and we have new jobs in recruitment lined up in Brisbane - starting in a couple of weeks! We both recruit civil and structural professionals.

I`m a digital tv transmission controller (computer babysitter). Won`t be able to do anything like that in Perth as all TV in Aus is broadcast from Sydney (so Sonicbird will have to go to Sydney to stay in tv).
Don`t have a clue what I`ll be doing in Perth.... hopefully web design, graphic design or dvd authoring (self-taught but no formal quals). Very scary actually. Probably better start practicing my `do ya want fries with that?` now.
Wifey will be at home with the bratlets most of the time, but is going to do some jewellery and nail design courses as she`s quite talented. Plus she`ll probably sing at some of the hotels as well (blues/jazz standards) if she can team up with a decent pianist. Will want to form a band for original pop/rock/soul stuff as well.... so any decent muso`s out there??
