I have just downloaded a form that I have to fill in and have messed it up so I just downloaded another one - easy!

It got me thinking though, what the hell did we do before tinternet? I mean the amount of research I have been able to do from the very beginning to searching areas on google maps etc has been huge, as well as downloading all of the forms needed (some of them more than once )
I have e-mailed various people, even applied for my visa electronically, not to mention all of the fabulous forums I have been able to use.

now before internet none of this would have been available so what the hell did people do? was it easier then? did less people apply? did it take forever?

I really don't know if I would have got through the process if I didn't have use of the internet?

I use the internet for everything -but sometimes it can be a bad thing as i do too much research, if one of the kids are ill i will research it then convince myself they have some life threatening illness or start reading other peoples threads/opinions on Oz on this forum and convince myself we shouldnt go

Most of us BE forumites were doing something valuable with our lives.

Seriously, our visa app would have been a pain in the arm if it were not for the helpful info gained on here and doing the application online. Kudos to the Internet.
