Default What a (good?) dilemma

Hi

I'm probably in an enviable position to some but in Jan I applied for Skilled Independant. In Feb I was offered a job and employer sponsorship (RSMS).
Today my approval arrived from AHC for the employer sponsorship and I have sent off my passport. Last week I heard from my agent that Adelaide have 'invited' me to make my investment for bonus points.
I have everything in place for the bond even phoned three banks to get current interest rates and am ready to go for it on Monday.

What should I do now? I just knew they would come in together (story of my life) I know the Skilled Independant is the one to have but it would be a hellavu lot cheaper with the Employer nominated.

Any advice?

Dani

The disadvantage with the RSMS is that your visa is liable to
cancellation if you leave your job before the first 2 years is up.

Skilled Independent visas can't be cancelled on that basis. So it
might be worth keeping your skilled independent application in the
system, if you don't mind making the investment. When it's granted
you'll need to leave Australia to be granted it, and it will override
your RSMS visa. Make sure you tell Adelaide you want to do this if
so, in order to avoid confusion.
