What exchange rate to use for tax
When I transfer UK pounds to Australia what exchange rate shoukd be used for tax returns? Should it be the ATO rate for the transfer day or the actual exchange rate achieved at the time (however good or poor)?

Needed to claim loss on transfer of gbp to oz. Don't understand your reply.
