what do we do
hi all
Well we have been told we should get our visas in about 4 weeks :scared: and we dont know if we should just pack up and go there and then or do a validation come rekki first my wife wants to go now but im not so sure.
Yes im having a s..t time at work at the moment maybe this is because i know our visas are on the way or it may be just one of those weeks are we mad to go for it straight away or do we just take the gamble . :scared:

go for it, we have not done a recci either. Lifes to short I say, the money you save with not doing a recci can be put towards stuff when you get there.
Loads of people just go by the sounds of things on this site.
just my opinion though, I couldnt wait to do a recci and then go, couldnt afford it either.

Its a good place just remember it aint the UK its OZ

p.s i think ive sent you some karma-your my first Yes i am looking at staying in the same career for a while but hopfully changing in the near future wouldnt mind having my own bussiness in time.Have you looked at rentals yet and if so what agencys have you used.I fully agree about going for it my area boss couldnt understand why i am going he is there for the next 25 years to collect his pension that would kill me to do that.Where abouts in perth are you looking at going to we were looking at the rockinghame area.Also we are looking for a better way of life for our three boys the outside life just suits them down to the ground.Just have to get the house on the market now.

we travelled to Perth last Christmas because we fancied making the big move and hadn't been there before. Then after we fell in love with the place and lifestyle for us and our boys we came home and started the whole process. Now we are waiting for the visa, house sale sign will be up the next day and we'll be on a flight at a minutes notice. In short "buy those one way tickets" and get started living the dream!
