I am sure there was a poll done on this about 12/18 months ago - asking the same questions as the OP.... I am 37,OH is 38..but we decided to emigrate when we were in our late 20's...took so long to save up, get the education and jobs requried to emigrate!! hard slog but worth it.

Me 28 OH 35 - think it's easier for us at this point as both sets of our parents are young and healthy enough to consider visiting at least once a year! If waited another 10 yrs parents couldn't necessarily have even come once!
