Can't find one about 20 people and a screwdriver, but it seems they are in use here as well as back home

There are more but the Aus v UK thing gets very boring very quickly

I have never felt personally threatened in either country but to assume these things don't happen is naive at best.
Doesn't Cape Town have one of the highest murder and violent crime rates in the world ? Don't people in Cape Town surround their homes with 10 feet high fences, razor wire and armed guards ?
I spent a few months in Camps Bay and we had 'panic buttons' to ADT in every room.

It's funny really, I get accused of not being realistic about life in the UK but rarely does anything get said about the ridiculous statements made about life in the UK as opposed to the idyllic utopian life here
I agree,it gets boring very quickly.

Nothing any more thank God! It used to be the DH which was the only thing keeping me in Australia but now that he has agreed to live in UK with me and look after my olds then I barely give Australia a thought, except to be glad that I no longer live there! In a few years I might be prepared to go back for a holiday and I hope to persuade the DH that we are much better off here so that he wont want to go back to live.

I'm with Alfresco on this. Cut out the insults to South Afrikans. It's getting old and it's a deliberate wind up and it's not funny

Behave or holidays are coming up

Then ask other SA to cut out the constant childish insulting references to 'poms' at every opportunity

You can both make your point as much as you like but cut out the deliberate pom/african bashing.

Don't make me spank you
