In Qld - definitely white.
I have been told that silver ones are dangerous because they reflect the sun!

I'd have thought white over silver in NSW purely on the economics that white paint is often not at a premium to a metalic paint such as silver.

Silver cars have a 10 per cent crash risk.
White cars were found to be the safest.
About 30% of new cars sold in Australia are silver,
About 20% are white.
About 10% are black.
