Any chance you could let me know who your conveyancer is - they sound great!I have been ringing around and the prices seem to vary a lot.
When you get an offer are you going to keep showing people around then? The couple interested in mine have asked that we don't. We are probably being too nice as we haven't been burnt yet, but have said no one will come round for 2 weeks.

Hi Tina have sent you a PM
Yes I have told our estate agent that we shall con tinue to show people around - as long as they are in a good pposition to buy - and are told they are second strings and can only buy if the first buyer does not come up t scratch however at present we have to wait for the next good buyer.
We have had our fingers burnt 3 times now and luckily doid not waste too much time with the first two as the stipulation we made the agents put on the instructions for sale particulars which goes to the solicitors was that there would be no further negotiation in price and the first two backed out quickly - they obviously were going to try to gazzunder the price the day before exchange - this is quite usual and if you are in a chain you tend to HAVE to give in.

Oooooohhhh, Well travelled is a bit sour ain't he.
Most of us on this forum are happy for everybody when something goes right. Its a long and winding process this emigration lark and any positive result is great for the person involved and for us who look and post.
Well done tinaj

My thoughts too.
Oh well, can't win em all.
Good luck to those who will have more than me.
Bad luck to those who will have less than me.
And the way things are going, we won't have a lot.

I look forward to buying one of those huge range type ones though.
There are a few people that seem to have sour grapes for anyone who begins to get things going their way. The process is hard enough without people knocking you and making vague assumptions. Emigrating is not a competition between migrants after all!
