Can't believe it...we got a call last friday to say that we had been accepted & have got our residency visa!!! yippee!!! feels like i am in a bit of shock!

We applied in July last year, did our medicals right on top of xmas & got the decision mid feb....thought we would be waiting a lot longer than that!!

anyway - now looking to move to sydney around june time. so much to do between now and then...need to start thinking about shipping etc... don't really know what to take - was thinking of just selling all of our furniture etc.. & getting new eventually when we get there...just have to weigh up the cost of it all. is it really worth taking all of your stuff, sofas, beds, bedroom furniture etc???

anyway - we are on cloud 9 now! heres to a new start downunder!

Congratulations bet you are really excited and have mixed up emotions pounding in your head - can remember it well

We are in the same boat trying to decide whether or not we will take our stuff. At this stage we are leaning more towards sell now and buy new when we finally get out.

We too are Julyers, we have completed are meds and they should have been sent last week, maybe beginning of this week. Just waiting for the loooooooooooong PCC to come back, then it will be panic stations for us too !!!
