Default Well I'm in Singapore!

Hada panic with the luggage.....allowance 160kg...we had 190kg....arrghhh and we weighed it and thought we were under!..lol

Singapore airlines were fab....let it through no charge AND we didnt have to pick it up in Singapore they held it for us and are sending straight through to Brisbane...which has saved us left luggage charges here in singapore.....better not get too excited until I actually see all 10 pieces again!!!!!

Stayed at the Shangri la Hotel, it was lovely...spent most of the time in bed

We are due to leave here in about 30mins so better get to the gate......

bye for now

Hello again,

Well we just made the gate in time!

Our luggage was on the flight ...and i have been re-united with it....phew!

Staying at a friends house for 3 weeks as they leave for England on Tuesday for 3 weeks...very handy!

My head is full of all the stuff we have to do......hope it's all going to be worth it......think it's just starting to hit me that I'm not going to see my friends and family for a long time.

Just been to the supermarket...took me ages, looking at all the different lables. Can't buy wine and beer in supermarkets tho, so had to go to a different shop which was a bit of a pain.

Right better carry on sorting out the cases...having to climb over them to get into the bedroom at the mo.

bye for now x

It was very lucky actually....as I said the luggage was way over the limit, so the girl checking us in got her superviser. We started to think there was either going to be a big charge or I would have to start deciding what we could do with out! Then she suggested them holding it in Singapore and then loading it straight onto the Brisbane flight...we couldnt believe our luck! She said she tries to do this for migrating families but said if the stop over is longer than 24hrs it is unlikely they will do it.

Hope you manage to get the same service it was fab....all you can do is ask I suppose.
