Websites providing reviews of Perth suburbs?
Does anyone know of any websites that will give me an insight into Success, Perth? I posted a thread asking about the area here but no one responded so I don't think many of BE members know the area or live there.
We're quite keen but I'd still like to check out nearest shops, bank, kids facilities, petrol station, train station to the city etc.

Basically it is OK, a big estate about 20kms from CBD Perth. The train line has a stop so that is good. There is a shopping centre and strip mall type of thing but it is a bit low rent. It is a new suburb so a bit soulless but that is most of Perth

Thanks for posting. I have found www.whereis.com which has enlightened us quite a bit. Just not sure if we're going for an established area like Willieton or Leeming or going for somewhere like Success where you get so much more house (and newer) for your money. I suppose we can always move again if we don't like it!

The Gateway shopping centre is located on the corner of Kwinana Freeway and Beeliar Drive in Success, 20 minutes from Perth CBD.
This centre has a Woolworths, a BIG W, a Supa IGA, Best & Less, Dick Smith Electronics and J.B Hi-Fi, as some of the major stores, together with about 100 Specialty Stores. It also has a food court with about 20 food outlets.
