Question Weather in Adelaide

Can anybody tell me what the weather is like in Adelaide. We were looking at Melbourne but believe it can get quite chilly in winter. Had enough of that & rain in the UK. We have some friends moving to Adelaide wondered what the weather is like there?

We hopefully would like to move somewhere that is warm all year round. Could anybody please advise the best place in Oz

Hiya

Adelaide does have four seasons, which we prefer.
It means I can get those heavy jobs done on the land in winter.

Yes it does get cold, but then hot and dry in summer.

Similar to northern Italy I'd say.

It is very much a personal choice, we did not want constant heat.
Saying that I see that even QLD had had some very cold temps this winter!!

Melbourne doesn't get "quite chilly" - more like bloody freezing
Seriosuly, it's cold here in winter, so if you don't want that, forget it.
If you want year-round warmth you've got to head to Queensland. Yes they get the occasional chilly day in winter, but I was in Brisbane at the weekend and it was 20-plus degrees, warm and sunny, I was walking along the beach in a t-shirt in the middle of winter. Bliss!
