We need to make a decision, we really want to return to oz as we had to come back for sad reasons, we miss most things in brissy,since being back we have had a shit time (sorry no other way to explain), we are now in a part of the UK we hate and my son has a hard time at school, get this the teacher said not not all the kids in the school swear,oooo I should be so greatful, this is ment to be an good village school in essex. Please tell me we might have a chance of finding a job as a continuous improvement engineer.

hi , no we had only been in au for 3 to 4 months when my dad became very never ill before in his life i came home with son to see him,dad had cemo all went well had op caught mrsa in icu for about 8 weeks nearly died several times,taken into family room, the worst felling in the world so helpless oh comes back to help, 6 months on from this my brave dad gives in on his own terms and dies,he tells us before he dies not to give up on our dreams an go back,
we sell house money in bank end june08 get mum sorted ready to leave uk oct /nov 08 then shit hits fan with banks move leaving date to jan/feb it all gets worse now we really want to go back but are really worried about work when we get there,
we are so confused can't see us being here for ever we go round and round not getting any where help us before we melt down

I know its a bit of a tester but maybe your husband could line up some companies to apply to and come over on his own for a month or 2 to try to assess the situation and get a job. Then you could come whether he had a job or not if he felt that there was hope

one thing though - dont aim to start job hunting november - march - noone takes on at that time (hardly) - recession or no recession

hehe, tried that one this morning, he is having non of it,when he got back, the job was 3hours each way from we were and he spent the week days there and coming home weekends , we have only lived together as family 9 months in the last 25 months you think he would be fedup with us by now,

We in same position, we wanna come back but are really worried regarding this recession stuff.....OH gonna try go over July time on a short reccie to see how things go.

Luckily we have citizenship so no really time line but would like to be spending this xmas there and not here..
