We Got It!!!
Hi everyone
Sorry we havent posted in so long - but we've had a million things going on - spent 4 weeks in Oz and New Zealand during September. Finally got our visa 3 weeks past tomorrow but as it unfortunately didnt come in time for our trip we've been busy organising our return trip. Not sure what we've missed as havent been on since the end of August just before we left to go to Oz but hope all your visa applications have been successsful and for those who havent heard yet - hang on in there its worth the wait!!!!

I'm very nosey k'now!Trip was great - although weather was a bit disappointing - we spent 1 week in Perth - 4 days in Melbourne - 3 days in christchurch - 3 days in Auckland - 4 days in Brisbane and 1 week in sydney and unfortunately only got 3 days sunshine out of the whole trip - typical!!!!
We loved Perth (jundalup) - its something else. Werent so keen on Melbourne but we're not really city people and we were staying right in the city. Loved Christchurch - really beautiful - just like scotland but better climate. Hated Auckland but that may be cos it pissed down every single day all day!!!!! Or it may also be cos everytime we got on a road to go somewhere we ended up on a motorway heading out of the city - really bloody annoying!!!! Brisbane was pretty cool - we went to Australia Zoo and Steve Irwin was there that day - it was brilliant - seriously not to be missed. Drove down to the sunshine coast and funnily enough it was one of the 3 days we got that was actually sunny - the beaches were amazing!!!
Sydney was great - couldnt afford to live there but when we were there we had a spectacular view of the harbour bridge and the opera house - really weird looking out your window to see that - feels a bit unreal.
Going back in March to validate our visa and going to syndey for a few days and perth for the rest of the trip - hope we get better weather.
Seen 3 spiders whilst we were there - none of which were huge but one of which jumped?????? It was the one thing that had me freaked out before we went but not too worried about it now.
Cant wait to go - 2.5 years seems like a long time!!!
