When we go out to, say, a pub we choose a nice place with comfortable surroundings, a warm welcoming atmosphere and freindly people.
We choose not to go where there is sawdust and vomit on the floor, where paople are periodically brawling and where the general atmosphere suggests lowlifes.
That is just us.
When we first started using this forum, we thought it would be of the former variety...
However, we now feel that we should provide our own brush if we want an area free of sawdust.
Sad, really.

There are areas of this forum that are nice and comfy, some that are not quite so comfy and other areas that are more the "spit and sawdust" parts. The take it outside forum is definately the latter variety and to be fair WBB did tend to keep most of his more outrageous stuff confined to that part of the forum.
Personally I think a lot more people than just WBB should have been banned, but thats up to the mods.
As Jules&Chris say "Can we draw a line under the whole sorry saga now?"
Lets not give the whole thing more importance than it deserves !
Anybody heard about the price of lettuces lately ?????

Like any place where you have a gathering of people (perhaps even the idyllic pubs you refer to) there may be unacceptable behaviour by a minority.
The moderators on this forum have shown that if the line is crossed those posters will be banned.
To carry on the brush analogy, please don't tar us all with the same.
I suggest a re-read of JulesandChris' last post (re: moving on).
