If you lived in south Australia you could do what all the pensioners do, collect empty bottles ,cans, milk cartons at 10C a time.
Plenty of money to be made just walking the sides of roads Ten bottles you have a Dollar....... kids would enjoy the exercise .mm

My wife fills out some online surveys...decent!

My view is, careful spending! $ saved is $ earned mate.

Technology has grown, competition is better than few years ago.
e.g. Optus DSL is cheap now comparatively. You may be able to lower your net bill. Call your provider.
2. Move to a cheaper car insurer - advice needed though
3. Shop around for mobile contracts. Heaps out there...
4. shop local

etc etc. Trust me it all adds up.
1. I saved 25$pm by moving to a lower plan which was dine given my historical usage on dowloads.
2. Car insurance change - saved me 350$
3. Saved me 20$ pm
4. Difficult to say - perhaps 20$ a week.

Ok that gives me 25+350/12+20+20*4.33= 160 a month i.e. 2000 a year and that's net of tax so assume 30% bracket that's 2800 a year.

Thenagain - may be my savings were because I was overspending!!
