Wardrobes
Hi we are just about to move into a rented house this weekend that doesn't have any build in wardrobes.
Can anyone suggest somewhere we can get cheapish wardrobes from for an adults room. Didn't really want to spend a lot as most houses have build in wardrobes and we will possibly only be in this house for 12 months.
Thank you
Sonya

Not really I have seen some on the website but it would be a 7 hour round trip, we are planning a weekend in Adelaide soon so could have brought that forward but then with the kids in the car won't get the wardrobes in.
They will deliver for $120 but that seems a lot to me - although I know it is a long way.

why not get some cheapo clothes rail things from Kmart or similar. Not very attractive admittedly but cheaper than buying wardrobes you might sell in 12 months.

If you're in Sydney, I have a huge one that I am about to give away. You can have it if you can come and collect it. It's flat packed, all ready to go...

Location says South Australia so I'd say they're no where near Sydney. Nice thought though. Can you stick it in the post?

I know at some of the ones here in Perth there is a recycle area and people drop of unwanted furniture and they sell them for $5 or $10 just to cover costs of wages .

Thanks for the offer but we are miles away from Sydney!
Think it will have to be Ikea - thanks for the suggestions.

I'm 3 hours away from Adelaide Ikea too (intrigued to meet someone as far away as me!) but they're still the best choice for temp, fairly cheap wardrobes!
Good luck and if it helps not all houses have built ins!
