My keyboard i's running out of apostrophe's since I came to O'z.

I think its' because they are overused here, and there's' none left for normal day to day us'e.

Every greengrocer has banana's, mango's and pear's for sale, but no apostrophe's.

Please help - I need some!

Harvey Norman's' used to sell them by the kilo in their comfuser department but I think they're out of stock and on back-order.

Probably the best thing would be to go to a greengrocer's's wholesaler and see if they would let me have a box or two. Anyone else running out? We could get a good price' for quantity!

I think you might be right, I seem to have commas,,,,,, but am being told Im out of my apostrophe quota for the year. Luckily theres not long to go till next years quota is in.


(that was quite hard, I kept having to go back and delete the apostrophes! )

Reminds me of a sign at a local farm, which my dad often commented on -

"For Sale - Oven Ready Rabbit's Eggs"

While we're (were?) on the subject, my parents always used to giggle & mime grabbing each other's nether regions whenever we drove past a local garage that had a sign saying 'Clutch parts'.

It was tough, being brought up by a couple of 'literalists'....

Failing that, Humberside Airport in North Lincs have quite a few to spare, especially in the duty free shop which sells, inter alia, "instant camera's" !

Thanks - I bid on ebay but the only ones up at present are blister packed ones, a dozen in a foil, and they are nothing like as cheap as the bulk packed ones. I suspect they might be out of date anyway.

I'm off to s'ee the firework's now!
