It was in/around Brissie , QLD yesterday !
So very pleasing to learn that an O.K. house costs from A$800K and a sparkie can expect 50K gross p.a., hehehe ;
see more Poms in Perth on Monday ( there's 3 more weeks to go ).
Everyone going ga-ga over real estate , the weather and the beach , plus the beach and then again the beach - highly intellectual , no doubt : at all times !

I didn't even know it was on. And sods law I missed the Brissie one, which is where I'm heading this year.
For those that saw it, was it any good? Did it make brissie sound nice?

They didn't really go to Brissy itself they went to Burleigh Heads I think.

I e-mailed the BBC to complain about its timing. I said that people going over there that are interested in watching the programme are mainly 'skilled' people (i.e those who are working and so wont get to see it!) They replied how dificult it was to get an evening slot and agreed with my comment - but still didnt offer an alternative to me phoning in sick or being late for work every morning!!!!!

As said above it is on for around 4 weeks. We Sky+'ed last weeks episodes and watched them last night (sad but true). Would be nice if in the next few weeks they showed families/couples with a more realistic situation when they arrive in Oz. For example myself and my wife will need to have work lined up and schools sorted before we arrive. And we unfortunately wont have a million dollars spare to buy a waterfront house.

I agree with you. We won't have a lot to take out with us and will be looking for property at the lower end of the market. Hopefully the next three weeks will show a bit of variance.
