A large amount of houses have tiles so I imagine there must be a lot of work out there. If your husband has worked as a tiler and has qualifications then he should be able to get work easily. One thing to bear in mind is that he will have to be assessed again in Australia to get his licence. If you do a search through old threads some people have described the process involved as I am not too sure, although I know that some said that it took them approx 9 months to get licensed.

Crying out for tilers here in Bunbury, my hubby did ours as the building company could not get a tiler.
They are like gold dust here, and must be lots of money to make.

Hi mary,

Sorry to hear about the mess the tiler made, how annoying, especially when they charge you a fortune for a sh*t job. Is that $35-$40 per square metre, if not what is the approx size of a square floor? hiow long have u been in oz?
Thanks, claire

Hi Claire, we are 2 hours south of Perth, the city of Bunbury.
www.mybunbury.com.au
There is so much building going on here, but not enough tradesmen.
And the place is booming.
We have been here 16 months and love the place, we are from sunny Morecambe.
