I just spoke to my agent and she says she has heard from South Australia and our response as to whether we have gained state nomination from them was posted on Friday. I feel sick to my stomach I am so nervous. I cant believe I am feeling like this! Any rough guess-timates on how long post takes to get from Adelaide to London?? arrggghhh I hate the wait!! And I know this is only the beginning!

Hi there

I am new to the board, we are just discussing the possibility of moving to SA but I just wondered - do we have to apply for our visas in the usual way and then apply to SA for state nomination?

Sorry is this is a basic question but I keep visiting the SA immigration website and everytime I try and get the relevant fact sheet I get an error message!

Lucy,

"Good things happen to those that wait" - I know that is no help and I'm sure you and everyone else waiting are stressed and anxious.

Don't worry it will all work out OK - Good luck and fingers crossed !

Remember that the best things are worth waiting for, and if something is really worth waiting for, then it's really worth having...

This is my little mantra at the moment as I sit in limbo-land for another year

Hi Bridiej

it all depends, what visa you are hoping for?
