visa validated/ final move
My independant skilled was granted on the 11th dec 2003, I have recented validated the visa, could someone advise how long I have now before I have to make the final move to oz? cheers.

You should have a date on your visa that says initial entry by.......
followed by a date that says
final entry (or something like that) by....................
Its in small print at the bottom of the visa but gives you the latest dates.
Should be 4 - 5 years

The visa is valid for 5 years from visa grant.
And you need 2 years residence in the first 5 years to easily get an RRV or citizenship after the end of the period.
If you do the sums, five less two implies you should be in Australia within three years of visa grant if you want to keep things simple for yourself.
