Visa application cost ?
Am I right that the cost of a skilled Independent visa is $1845 Oz dollars ?
This is the amount that will be charged to my credit card ?

Just because of what it says on the site and form, you will be charged according to the exchange rate at the time by Barclaycard (in my case) or whoevers card you use.

No, this has changed recently. It now costs $1935.00 to submit your application. Ours went in on Friday and we had a last minute dash to our agents to get the form signed for the new amount.

How long as your agent told you it should take to get your permanent redundancy?

I know it takes a long time to get a visa but surely not that long.

They told as about 4 to 6 months but that it can change. They also reckon we should hear from DIMIA in 3 to 6 weeks and that they will contact us at this time to lay out what is required at this point.
