Hi, the postman has just returned our PR Visas stamped and ready to go, it just feels great!! Thought you might like to know we orginally applied on 22 January 2003 under Subclass 139, skilled, sponsored, designated area (Victoria) and Visa was granted on 22 May 2003. I decided to send the passports to London to have them stamped and only sent them on Monday of this week (although it says on the letter allow 3 weeks for them to return) they haved proved to provide a very good service.
This site has really helped in last few months, we have had loads of tips on things and support when needed.
Thanks to everyone
Helen
PS Off to buy champange now although it is really early, but we are celebrating

Hi Jo, thanks for that we are going to Beaumaris in Melbourne, we have visited Mornington about 18 months ago now and it was lovely, we had a weeks break there when we were staying in Mentone, Melbourne with the relatives.

Hi
We got our passports back this morning too.
Bit of a shock being woken by the Postie at 8am, but nice to have everything finalised!
Took 8 days for passports to be returned.
Should really celebrate some more, but we did most of that when we got the medical requests!
(Hey, who needs an excuse to open a bottle of Chardonnay anyway!)
