Got another couple coming to view the house tomorrow. Feeling a bit flat about it all now though and am so so sick of cleaning

I'm afraid to say that the worry won't stop even after you get a buyer. We are on our third buyer and I will not be happy until we exchange

now we are having this old discussion of whether to get rid of all tat before a buyer comes

we are going to put the house on the market in feb and hope to have it ship shape by then but disagreeing about tat

does tat make a house look lived in or hinders a sale

our 'home' has very little in it! in our lounge i have two lamps on pillars, a tele on a stone effect unit, two cream leather sofas, a square dining table/four chairs and my pc desk tucked in the corner! on the walls i have four lights and that is it, no photos only a couple of roman style ornaments! a lot have people have said that it doesn't look lived in or that it is a show home, i personally don't like tat, everything in its place but it depends, some of the houses we have had on our books have been so cluttered that they look like second hand shops yet they sell straight away! i think that a house sells itself with or without the 'tat'
best of luck
