OBSESSIVE WOMAN or what, why not give them kids a polish with a hug or 2, instead of the bloody floor, or worrying about how you feel, remember what you say about anything in front of the kids. Bet they felt they were in the way. Well that's what we all thought. Hug THOSE KIDS NOW

careful now firing1 is here don't forget..
anyway as they said 3 months condensed into a 1hr prog..sure she likes things clean..that's not a crime though is it ??
lorna's a very clean person too and you sure come to apreciate it being around it for a while I can tell you...
(I would need a spectrogram to find the dirt she comes up with but we have a clean house to live in and it always looks lovely..)
I must admit nz looked nice although the houses lacked something as it all looked rather bland..
still i feel that it should have been a series rather than a slot
cheers

here here Don
Give that poor family a break, for what its worth I think they did the best they could given the cameras on them and the stress of moving within 2 weeks. I for one wish them all the best.

I have a 2 year old and a 6 year old and under normal circumstances their hard work so it's going to be hard going. Travelling 2 hours in a car with them is frightening experience. All the moaning, crying, fighting and my favourite are we here yet. So magnify this by ten and you know the pressure the family is under. Those of you judging this woman who wants to be the next one to take up the challenge. I dare you, how long will you last?

David, do you have kids? Do you take care of them all day? My husband loves our kids but finds taking care of them more stressful and a day at work. I'm very curious why people are putting Julie do for doing what every normal parent does now and then. It called stress.

We watched the episode on Tuesday and were really impressed by what we saw. I worked in Zimbabwe for 21/2 years so kinda know what it's like to relocate. But I was on my own and didn't have a hubby and children. Perhaps I am being negative but I think relocating to Aus is going to be the most stressful thing we have done as a family. Of course we are 'all there for each other' but I do not always cope well under pressure and am quite sure I will say and do things I don't really mean sometimes.
Give Julie a break....any stressed out Mum will sometimes not be the 'perfect mother' but it was probably a cleverly edited program. I for one would not want cameras following my every movement and admire and thank them for letting us see what was a huge event in their lives.

I see you are new to the forum. If you wish people to continue to read your contibutions (Which I hope will be more positive than those so far) then I think your best course of action would be to make a dignified apology to all concerned. If not risk being placed on the ignore list and talking only to yourself.
Please take the above as genuine advice and not a dig.

hi all,
just read the posts. i think julie was just about getting over the first slating and then she read this one and even though you try to ignore it, it does get to you especially as julie is very home sick at the moment.
anyway i'm ignoring any negative comments so on a more positive note. the car care franchise has recieved over forty five applications from the uk as a result of the show and i think i could sell the tauranga franchise for a healthy profit (i'm not going to yet though) and am considering selling some of my area.
our house still hasn't sold. useless uk estate agents completely to blame in my opinion.
i am working 7 days a week at the moment but with an average day being 9 - 4 with an hour or so for lunch i'm not complaining.
our copy of the program will arrive later this week so i'll be able to let you know my verdict on it in a few days time.
we had a great night out last night at the fender battle of the bands and met some people our age so all smiles today.
bye for now
