This is the scenario...I am an Australian Citizen who has been living in the UK for the last 18 months. I have bought a car but have not owned it the required 12 months to import it as a personal import. The vehicle doesn't qualify under SEVS as it is currently officially imported to Australia and is only 5 years old.

I have checked and the vehicle has an ADR certificate issued to the manufacturer for the model I have.

I have a form VSB10 titled Application for Approval to Import a Vehicle (dont confuse with the personal import form) which would appear to allow me/or a company to import one car per year under this scheme rather than the personal import scheme.

Has anyone successfully gone down this route ?
