Updated monthly outgoings please....
Hi there, still working on the finances just need an update on people's monthly expenditure, approx's for a family of 5!

I've just been working my fornightly bills out ... this is only for a family of 3 tho ..
Rent $800 <--- nice house in wynnum but no pool
Phone/Internet $80 <--- IInet 20/20 plus IIPhone
Elec $50 <--- Direct Debit currently set at this may change after first bill
Gas $30 <--- Direct Debit currently set at this may change after first bill
Radio Rentals $50 <--- Rent to buy fridge and washing machine
Home Insurance $20 <--- 40k's worth of contents
Life Insurance $20 <--- Just me at the minute will be adding wife shortly
Petrol $50 <--- enough to commute to and from greenslopes all week plus general travel at weekend
Food $500 <--- we eat well but do look out for specials but still spend this
Extra $100 <--- cash we put to one side for bits and pieces during the week
Car Insurance $50 <--- Putting this away for next years insurance
Total $1750
This leaves us enough to eat out when we like and to save a bit ... its took a while for me to realise this but we are definately better off here in aus, even if some things cost more
Our daughter is not at school yet but in a few years we will need to add term fees to this ..
