Update
Hi all
Haven't posted for a while, just been too busy.
Anyway thought I'd just update everyone of how we are doind.
Sara finished work on the 28th April but didn't have much relaxing the next week as we had our leaving party on the 6th May.
That went really well with around 90 people turning up. It was a very long tiring day but well worth it. We had worried about how many would turn up but were really pleased with the turnout.
I finished work last friday 12th May and my boss gave me a good send off with a bottle of champers to toast me off and a gift. This is strange for my boss as he doesn't like to do leaving pressies or presentations.
So we are now 3 weeks away from leaving the UK. We are haveing a couple of weeks in Orlando with Sara's family before waving them off on the 24th June. We then have to make our way down to Miami on the 25th to fly to San Fransico. We then fly from San Fran late on the 25th for a 15 hour flight to Sydney. We land on the 27th June 2 days later. Still can't quite get our heads round that.
We are having a few days in Sydney before flying up to Brisbane to spend a few days with Scissors & GSB before flying back to Sydney and then onto Adelaide, landing there on the 4th July.
We are now trying to get to see places and people before we go and our calendar has never been so full.
Sara has said that it is the first time she hasn't been excited about going on holiday as all she is focussing on is Adelaide and hopefully the rest of our new lifes.
To all those still waiting you'll get there and like it was said to us before once you get to the last month you just don't know where the time goes.
