Default University Fees

My wife would like to get her PhD. How long do we have to be in Australia, on a 176, for her to qualify for resident tuition rates instead of international student fees?

Have a look at the university websites for the city you're planning to live in. Most unis would have PhD programmes

Some info from the University of Queensland website:
http://www.uq.edu.au/study/program.h...501#australian
Fees for Australian students
Australian students (including Australian citizens or permanent residents and New Zealand citizens) are currently exempt from paying tuition fees for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) studies.

University of South Australia - some info on their scholarships, some of these are national, some specific to UniSA:
http://www.unisa.edu.au/resdegrees/s...australian.asp

Murdoch University: http://www.research.murdoch.edu.au/g...ospective.html
