I'm moving to Australia in March, can you tell me my TV would work OK in Oz?

You won't be able to get STV or channel 5......

My friendly local serviceman says that a service engineer in oz will adjust the UK TV sets to receive in australia

Even if your TV works you'll be driven mad by the high advertising load on Channels 7, 9 & 10 ...

Tell me about it, I've been over a few times and couldn't get over the amount of advertising on the TV. But maybe the UK should take up the same policy so we wouldn't have to pay so much TV licence for all the repeats we watch on the TV.
