Just a quickie question. I've lived in Scotland,Isle of Man and Jersey. Assuming I need to get Jersey and Isle of Man police checks, do I apply to scottish police HQ or to the Uk Scotland Yard which I think covers the whole of the UK?

Scotland keeps their own records - if you apply for a Scottish check through SCRO then you can get an England/Wales one done at the same time, there is an extra box to tick on the Scottish form, and they will then send it off to London for the check to be done there. You will end up with two results - one from SCRO and one from London.

And yes, IOM and Jersey are separate too, so finally you end up with 4 bits of paper.
