Default UK personal tax allowances - part year

Suppose I emigrate in June, do I get my full UK personal allowances (income AND capital gains) or does it get pro-rated to the proportion of the year I was in UK?

Read:

also: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/incometax/tax-leave-uk.htm

As far as I am aware, the U.K. does not pro-rate the personal allowance if you leave the U.K. mid year. However, if this is going to influence your decision, you should take personal tax advice rather than rely on an online forum.

Thanks. I read all that stuff before I posted. Couldn't find anything on that specific point, that's why I thought someone here might have direct experience.

I emigrated in June (2007) and got my full personal allowance and a nice cheque in tax rebate.
