The rise in UK interest rates wont affect the exchange rate. I've been talking to HIFX and thay have factored in the interest rates rising 0.25% today.
Interestingly, the Oz interest rate was held staically when they met yesterday. It would appear that the exchnage rate will maybe go up marginally but there should be no massive fluctuations.
I'll be glad with 2.60 (fingers crossed)
