Default UK contributory pensions and Australian tax

I see that my superfund here is Australia will pay my pension from it tax free. Does that mean that a pension from a UK contributory scheme will not attract tax in Australia?

I don't think it means that no.

Your UK contributions were tax-free, but your UK pension will be taxed as income.
In Australia contributions are taxed then the pension is tax-free.

The answers that you have already are correct. But have a word with a GOOD tax accountant. I get an 8% offset on my UK pension, albeit the circs are a bit unusual, but it may pay you to enquire.
