wow!!
estate agent rang me today and said last two house viewers have both put offers in for my house! i have accepted the offer from the couple who are first time buyers with a guarenteed mortgage, but other couple say if they are any probs they want first refusal!
And there i was moaning the other day about "time wasters". the house was only on the market for 3 weeks. I am now looking for a local rented property as we are not aiming to go to oz till next year,in fact we haven't even started the migration process yet!
for all thoses till waiting, don't give up!!

We actually got my purchasers in to their solicitors with the deposit in their sticky hands They signed the contracts and THEN their solicitor tells us that he has some more queries connected to the mortgage papers - questions about the house!!!!!!
I have alswered everything twice talk about time wasting. He should have exchanged on MONDAY.

Congratulations Ellen! As Tinaj says, now you can stop cleaning endlessly.
We're hoping to exchange contracts on our sale in the next 2 weeks. There are 4 properties in the chain below us. Probably a matchbox at the bottom. That's central London for you but they've all agreed sales now.
We're holding our breath as the market's dead here. Lots of viewers but only one offer and viewings dried up after 3 weeks. Not as much money as we'd hoped but a lot more than we paid for it!! I wouldn't pay that much for a house, that's for sure.
