Hi folks, couple of quick questions for you. First one should be straightforward enough: what's the best city to be based in if you don't drive?
Secondly, and slightly more obscurely: does anyone know what the rules are regarding working holiday visas if one should attempt to find creative/artistic work? After scrutinising the immigration website I've learnt that they're happy to have artistic geniuses with an international reputation over to stay - so that'll be comforting news for Steven Spielberg if he wants to move to Australia - but I can't find any information about people who might not be well-known (yet), but could perhaps get creative work whilst over there. Say, for instance, one wished to submit comedy sketches to ABC or articles to the Sydney Morning Herald, and say, against all odds, such submissions were taken up - would it be permissable to receive money for them if only there as a working holidayer?
Cheers in advance for any insight you can provide.
