Yep, we've got twins - a blue one and a pink one. They're 4 and the poor little b*ggers had their vaccinations yesterday. I couldn't believe how good they were. No tears, nothing, although it did cost me alot of sweets and a cake in bribes.

Paul.

Wow!!!! OK we now have 12 (count them!!!!) sets of multiples among the forum!!!!!

Folks we are an elite club! Once we are all in Australia we will have to organise a meet somewhere geographically in the middle of where we are all living.

Table for 49, Alice Springs Pizza Hut anyone (yes 49 don't forget the triplets)?

Digging up a very old thread BUT....

one thing I noticed about Oz, unlike the UK, is that almost all the play parks seem to have just one baby swing and just one swing for older children.

This makes things rather hard for those of us with twins.

The play parks are less vandalised though....

Twin girls age 8 hopefully in Brisbane for August, together with big brother. Surprised at how many multiple births we have between us.

twins are usually only hereditary I believe on the mothers side with non-identical being the type that are hereditary not identical.

I have 5 sets of non-identical on my side of the family and was kakking myself with both my pregnancies.

I'm a twin.

Mum always said it was harder to start with but then got easier as you could batch process- with younger silbings you have to 'start again'.

Yes I would agree with this.

Ha ha thought I'd drag a few more out of the woodwork by bumping this thread (although I had a genuine reason to do so following my reccie).

There's a great forum for twins in Oz at www.amba.org.au which I post on occasionally, for those of you already in Oz with twins it's pretty good.
