OK, this is going to sound like a really dumb request, but does anybody have any idea where I can get some treasury tags? You know - the little bits of string with the metal or plastic on the end that you use for loosely holding together paperwork.

I've just started a new job, and they would be the perfect thing for our documentation process, however nobody has heard of them!

I have looked in local shops and on line, and can only find 1 supplier so far - they won't sell to me direct, and the company is reluctant (obviously) to open an account for a couple of boxes!

Any thoughts/ideas?

Bored! Found this place which gives the suppliers - don't know if it's the same one you found or not. Will keep looking

Edit: silly mare, I didn't attach the site - will go find it again.

edit again: here you go: http://www.bantex.com.au/prod.aspx?C=0&P=5877

Just found this one: http://www.especiallyoffice.com/webalogue/enter.html

You really are bored! Thanks for that - That's two suppliers I hadn't found. I will give them a call and see if they will sell me any off account.

Stupidly, I did forget to metion that I was in Sydney. I havn't found an office orld here yet, but something like that would be just the ticket. Taken a look through the companies equivalent of ESPO, and they don't sell any.

If I have to get some sent over from the yook, then I'll get my mum to buy me some of the ultra trendy ones with the little rubber bit that slides up and down the string! And some of my favourite toothpaste.

Isn't it odd how you can get by without some of the really major things, but some of the really little things just niggle? Or is it just me?

Probably me.
